Custo and Desigual in legal war

Desigual has responded to the plagiarism lawsuit that the Catalan designer Custo Dalmau has filed against them. The fashion company will take "all the necessary legal measurements" to what Custo considers false accusations against its company. In a press release, Desigual has "denied all accusations by Custo Dalmau" and gives no comment on the topic.

Industry supports Texprint    
This year's Texprint First View Exhibition received great support from the Fashion Industry. The exhibition was led by Harold Tillman, Chairman of Jaeger and the British Fashion Council / London Fashion Week. Other supporters included representatives from Louis Vuitton, MaxMara, Roland Mouret, Paul Smith, Issa London and Catherine Walker, all there to seek out the next top designers.  Diesel acquires

Viktor & Rolf    
Diesel has bought a majority stake in Viktor & Rolf. The Italian denim brand, run by founder Renzo Rosso, acquired the Dutch artisan fashion label for a yet undisclosed amount, stating he would retain the brand's distinctive character. Only The Brave, Diesel's parent company, is planning to create new licensing agreements, in addition to opening new stores in key cities, all the while building it into a luxury brand.
