Inexmoda: a case of successful leadership

Medellín, September 18, 2007

In these past days, the Chamber of Commerce of Medellín for Antioquia published the book: Inexmoda: a case of successful leadership. The book is the result of a wide research which shows that the “Inexmoda” case can be considered, due to its results, as a process that has contributed specifically to coordinate and facilitate the intangible tasks in the fibers-textile-confection-distribution chain, and as a product of it, with a high extra value for the national textile and clothing production, as it was first considered in the year 1982 and that has got crystallized since its foundation in 1988.

This work is a privileged opportunity for building atmospheres that facilitate the exchange of knowledge and practices developed throughout the complete history of the Institute. This exchange will take place among local and foreign people and organizations, in order to learn from a process currently and widely known as a successful well-organized case of human proficiency and management.

“This experience, a pioneer for the business history of our country, is the one we would like to share to all people, organizations, guilds, and chains and sectors of commerce that consider knowledge to be the most valuable asset which can make more competitive and develop the nations; and even more when it took place in our country and in our own city not always in ideal conditions, but it is worthy to be presented today before the whole world as an example of proficiency and overcoming effort”.
